6 Reasons to Read the Bible Daily

There are a number of reasons to read God’s word on a daily basis. Here are 6.

1. You will be blessed by doing so. (Proverbs 8:34, Revelation 1:3)
2. It brings joy. A number of passages speak to the joy one can experience from reading God’s word. (Psalm 119:24, 111, 162, Jeremiah 15:16)
3. It makes one more noble. The Bereans were said to be more noble because they search the scriptures daily. (Acts 17:11)
4. Makes you stronger when the word of God abides in you to help you overcome sin.. (Psalm 119:11, I John 2:14)
5. Helps you to stand approved before God instead of believing any doctrine that comes along. (II Timothy 2:15, Ephesians 4:14)
6. Because it is as necessary as the daily food you eat. (Matthew 4:4)
